Refund & Returns Policy
At Alvar Fresh, we take pride in the quality of every product we send out — from our hand-churned Bilona Desi Ghee to our cold-pressed Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil. Each batch is inspected under our supervision before dispatch. However, if you receive a product that doesn’t meet our standards, we are committed to resolving it promptly. Please read this policy carefully before raising a request.
Returns
- Returns are accepted only if the product delivered is damaged, defective, leaked, expired, or incorrect (wrong item sent).
- The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging to qualify for a return.
- Return requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery — requests beyond this window will not be accepted.
- Photographic evidence of the damage or issue must be shared while raising the request.
- Products that have been opened, partially used, or tampered with are not eligible for return.
Refunds
- Once the returned product is received and inspected by our team, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 working days to your original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, etc.).
- Refunds will not be issued for items that are opened, partially used, or not in their original condition.
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- If you have not received your refund after 10 working days, please contact us — bank processing times may vary.
Replacements
- In cases of damaged, defective, or wrong items, we will arrange a free replacement at no extra cost, subject to stock availability.
- If a replacement is not possible (out of stock), a full refund will be issued instead.
- Replacement orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days after verification.
Non-Returnable Items
- Opened or used food products — for health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened items.
- Items purchased during special offers, flash sales, or discount promotions — unless they are damaged or defective.
- Products returned after the 3-day window from the date of delivery.
- Items where the original packaging has been removed, damaged, or discarded.
How to Initiate a Return or Refund
Contact Us Within 3 Days
Email us at sales@alvarfresh.com or call +91 92891 76019 with your Order ID, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product.
Verification by Our Team
Our support team will review your request within 1–2 business days. We may ask for additional photos or information if needed.
Pickup or Return Arranged
If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your address (where available) or guide you on how to send the product back to us.
Refund or Replacement Processed
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund (7–10 working days) or replacement (dispatched within 2–3 days) will be processed promptly.
Order Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible — you may instead initiate a return after delivery.
- To cancel an order, contact us immediately at sales@alvarfresh.com or +91 92891 76019 with your Order ID.
- If prepaid, the cancellation refund will be processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method.
